Our Reading Recovery Program is a support and intervention program for students in Year 1. Mrs Jenny Sully is the specially trained teacher who leads this program .
Students on the program receive individual, 30-minute lessons, daily.
Parents are given the opportunity to observe their children having a Reading Recovery Lesson at various stages of the child’s progress, and are provided with take-home work for the child to complete with parent supervision.
There is a wealth of research about Reading Recovery which confirms the remarkable success Reading Recovery has achieved in Australia, the United States, Canada and the United Kingdom.
Over 87,000 Victorian students have participated in the Reading Recovery Program.
