Prep-Grade 2
Children have the opportunity to participate in specialist music classes, in the Strzelecki Centre. This is a newly created space, which allows children to engage in movement activities in an attractive, larger area which opens onto an outdoor courtyard.
Music is closely linked to classroom themes and encompasses singing, body percussion and both tuned and non-tuned percussion. Children also build up a repertoire of musical terms.
In Term 4, children prepare for the end of year concert, which allows them to showcase their performance skills to the wider school community.
