Perceptual Motor Program (PMP)

PMP ( Perceptual Motor Program) is a school based program for children aged between 5-7.  At the core of PMP is the research-based understanding that children need language, memory, visual, listening, physical and social skills to be ready to learn at school.  Children are given opportunities to develop these skills through floor and equipment sessions which are offered to all Prep students and some students in Grades 1 and 2. Equipment sessions usually involve a number of interesting and stimulating activity stations.

There will be 3 sessions a week in 2010 at 9:00-9:30.

PARENT HELPERS and VOLUNTEERS ARE EXTREMELY IMPORTANT TO THE DELIVERY OF THIS PROGRAM

Please speak to Pat Conheady, Barb Kline or Pamela Heane if you would like to be a parent helper/volunteer for this program.

We are very appreciative of our partnership with Deakin University's Occupation,Well-being and Life-style Therapist course leaders and students for their involvement in our program.
